I’M NOT A MORNING PERSON 

Not even a Land Rover filled with excited artists could disturb the morning nap of this lioness.  Driving beneath the Yellow Fever Acacia trees surrounding Lake Nakura, we spied her high above us.  Far above the annoying flies, her innate feline instinct kept her balanced on the acacia branch, her bulging belly filled with a pre-dawn meal.  She barely lifted her head to squint at us through the early morning rays of sunlight.
