BOBWHITE BEAUTY

Sketching this little beauty evoked fond memories of coveys of Bobwhite running through my yard in Florida.  I often awoke in the early morning to their unforgettable call.  Everything about the bobwhite quail is meant to charm us.  Its bright eyes, richly toned feathers and cheerful call make him an irresistible favorite.
