| This note in the "What's
New" section of my web page represents the first of a series of
monthly updates. Check this section for new information on or about the
first of each month.
The year 2002 is off and running.
Chuck and I attended the Colorado Indian and Southwest Art Exposition in
Denver in mid-January. It was a highly successful show, plus having my
first opportunity to see my son since the rescue incident in the Indian
Ocean in mid-December. We also enjoyed the reception at the Mountain
Treasures Gallery in Red River, NM, on our return route to Austin.
My newest piece, "The Scent
of the Hunt", was printed on January 23rd. It is a Winter scene
featuring two wolves. The image size is 13-3/4" x 24", and it
is a Gicle'e Edition of 100, plus 10 Artist's Proofs. Prices are $125.
and $140. The wolves will be added to the web site by the end of
February.
At this time the original is still
available at $ 4,000.
We wish to thank Richard and
Ginger Chapman of Littleton, CO for suggesting the winning name for the
wolf piece. The contest was fun, and we had great participation at both
Denver and Red River, NM. The Chapman's will receive print #1/100 for
their creativity.
NEXT SHOW:
I will be in Kerrville, TX on
February 23-24, for the "Return Showdown" Fine Art Show and
Sale at the YO Ranch Resort Hotel. A total of 37 Artists, members and
guests of the Texas Wild Bunch Professional Artists, will be
participating. Show hours are 10-5 on Sat. 2/23, and 12-5 on Sun. 2/24.
Saturday evening from 5:30-8:30 I will be involved in a "Quick Draw
and Auction". If you are in the area, plan to look in on this fun
activity.
In March I will be in Dallas, TX,
for the Dallas Safari Club Convention and then in Las Vegas, NV for the
Safari Club International Show. Check this page for details next month.
NEXT PIECE:
I am presently working on a small
Grizzly Bear piece. A first for me. Inspired by the chance to observe
him in Montana this summer I knew it wouldn't be long before he appeared
on my drawing table. This piece should be available for viewing at my
March shows. |
